Ian Masterson and Hayley Sanderson are the songwriters behind our Change and Check single ‘Golden’ and today we heard the what inspired them in the song writing process. ’Golden’ is dedicated the Hannah Hawkins, our beautiful producer who lost her life to breast cancer just after giving birthday to her son Rory. Hannah’s husband Tom shared how special this song was to her and her family in her final days 💕 “I was lucky enough to be sent an early version of the song last week to play to Hannah. The song meant a huge amount to her and the team at Lorraine wanted her to be one of the first to hear it with Joss Stone vocals. This was on Thursday evening. I put my phone next to her, we listened to it together and I bawled my eyes out. It was the last song she heard”. - Tom Hawkins #lorraine #breastcancer #changeandcheck #awareness #lyrics #songwriter
