The UK government has approved extraction from the Jackdaw gas field in the North Sea. Chancellor John Healey has said a new "Energy Wealth Fund", using tax revenue from oil and gas extraction, will invest in "green transition". But Green Party leader in England and Wales, Zack Polanski, has called the Jackdaw decision "climate vandalism".
