Ten-year-old 'Tigrino' is the only known living member of a new species of tiger cat that scientists have discovered in Bolivia. Tigrino was found in the forest by a local resident who thought he was a domestic kitten before he started behaving differently. The cat had initially been mistaken for other wild cats that share similar spots and stripes but DNA tests revealed that 'Leopardus tilcayo' is actually a species of its own. Scientists are hopeful that others like him exist. #NewSpecies #Wildcats #Bolivia #AnimalConservation #BBCNews
