Yorkshire Wildlife Park will remain closed as police investigate the death of a man attacked by a tiger. Emergency services were called shortly after 1.30pm on Saturday, October 10, after the man entered the tiger’s enclosure and was attacked. He was pronounced dead at the scene, South Yorkshire Police confirmed, adding that his family have been informed. The park was evacuated following the incident and remained closed on Sunday.
