This video shows the moment Police Dog Frankie showing the incredible bravery that led to him being given an award 🐕🚔 The German Shepherd, two, was called to help his handler, PC Eddie Cabrera, after reports of a man threatening people with a knife in February. The man refused repeated orders to drop the weapon and continued swinging it at the pair. After a six-minute struggle, Frankie bit the man’s leg, bringing him to the ground and allowing PC Cabrera to arrest him. Frankie, who had only been operational for a few months at the time, has now been given the Outstanding Bravery Award at the Thin Blue Paw Awards. PC Cabrera praised his partner’s courage, saying Frankie ‘put service before self’ despite being so early in his career 🐾❤️ #police #weratedogs #germanshepherdlover
