UK diesel prices hit a new all-time high today - as Donald Trump says he is considering export curbs that could twist the knife again on motorists. The RAC said average pump prices have reached 199.18p, topping the 199.09p seen in June 2022. The grim news emerged after the president has said he is looking at restrictions 'very seriously'. Mr Trump is desperate to keep costs for Americans down and shore up support ahead of November's midterm elections.
