Pudding wars eh….? Competitors descended on Ramsbottom, Greater Manchester, for the World Black Pudding Throwing Championships, where contestants were given three underarm attempts to knock Yorkshire puddings from a 20-foot-high platform. The annual tradition is said to commemorate the historic rivalry between Lancashire and Yorkshire and the wars of the roses. The event raises money for local charities, proving there really is more at stake than pudding pride. #uknews #tradition #manchester #onlyinbritain
