Thunderstorms are on the way this week ⛈️⚡ ️ The Met Office has issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for Wednesday and Thursday, with a small chance of flash flooding, lightning strikes, hail and damage to buildings. There could also be travel disruption, with delays or cancellations to trains and buses, difficult driving conditions and some road closures. A small number of homes and businesses could also experience power cuts. If you’re heading out, check your local forecast and travel updates, and avoid sheltering under trees during storms. If you hear thunder, find a safe enclosed shelter, such as a car, and move to lower ground if you’re somewhere elevated. #weather #metoffice #uknews #thunderstorms
