Around 900,000 students are getting their A-level results today β and thereβs plenty to celebrate ππ The proportion of A, A, B and C grades in England has risen slightly, making this another record year outside the pandemic era. Similar trends have been seen in Wales and Northern Ireland. Overall, results remain broadly stable, with more boys achieving A* grades than girls for the second year running, while more girls achieved C grades and above. The number of UK students taking A-levels has also risen by 23,773 compared with last year, largely due to the growing number of 18-year-olds sitting exams. There has also been a significant rise in T Level entries π #reaultsday2026 #alevel #uknews
