London is 'extraordinarily safe' according to the Met Police Commissioner. Police collected data, reportedly showing that homicide rates in the city have dropped to a new low. The Metropolitan Police revealed 97 recorded homicides in 2025. This marked an 11 per cent reduction compared to the 109 killings documented in 2024. Teenage homicide has dropped too by a 73 per cent reduction since 2021, with teens accounting for only 8.3 per cent of all homicides in London. Sir Mark Rowley said the "record‑low homicide rate" was the result of "relentless work". #london #metpolice #uk
