James Corden and Ruth Jones have revealed that Gavin was set to cheat on Stacey in an abandoned storyline written for the 2019 Christmas special. Ruth and James, who play Nessa and Smithy in the show, told an audience in London that they ultimately decided against the story because they felt it ‘wasn’t true’ to the show. #gavinandstacey #jamescorden #ruthjones #nessa #smithy
