Sainsbury's has hiked the price of its lunchtime meal deal for the second time in under a year - taking it to a new high of £3.95. Shoppers joked that 'we are in the end times' after the cost of the supermarket's popular deal was increased this week by 20p or 5 per cent. The price of the combination had been fixed at £3 since at least 2014 before it was increased to £3.50 in May 2021 and then £3.75 in July last year. #mealdeal #sainsburys #lunch #supermarket #news #costofliving #inflation
