The moment a paddler, who got stuck in sinking sand off the Welsh coast, was rescued from a rising tide. The water had reached their waist when RNLI Inshore Lifeboat based in Rhyl, Denbighshire, arrived at Splash Point after being called at 21:00 BST on Friday. RNLI said the crew put them in a lifejacket and lay them on their back to free their feet.
