BREAKING: Newcastle Knights hooker Phoenix Crossland will miss the 2026 NRL Grand Final after being handed a four match ban. Crossland was cited for a dangerous tackle that left Panthers halfback Nathan Cleary with a compound fracture during the preliminary final on Sunday. The Knights and Kiwi representative pled guilty to the charge- saying Nathan Cleary is his “favourite player in the game” and to “be the reason he’s in the hospital is killing me”. #NRL #australia #nathancleary #penrithpanthers #fyp
