Aussie fitness star Joanna Wietrzyk has sparked a storm of controversy after powering to victory in a HYROX race despite appearing to suffer a shocking bowel incontinence accident mid-event. Wietrzyk, 22, refused to stop during the gruelling Beijing competition over the weekend, continuing with what appeared to be faecal matter running down her legs as she completed burpees, lunges, and wall balls. Her decision to push on and ultimately win triggered biohazard concerns and fierce criticism online, with viewers questioning why officials allowed her to continue competing. An unapologetic Wietrzyk posted an image while recovering in hospital, saying: 'Go hard or go home they say ... a win is a win. 'In all seriousness, thank you for all the support. I'll be back soon.' HYROX China said affected areas and race lanes were immediately closed and isolated, then thoroughly disinfected. Read more at link in bio 🔗 #hyrox #australia #fyp #bejing #accident
