A fire broke out at the Hilton Hotel in Surfers Paradise around 2am, with firefighters taking about an hour to extinguish two separate blazes. A resident filmed a fireball plummeting more than 100 meters, igniting a second fire on the roof of level two. All guests were evacuated but were allowed back inside by 6am after Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) declared the building safe. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by QFES. #goldcoast #surfersparadise #hiltonhotel #schoolies #goldcoastaustralia #fire #firefighter #qld #dailymail #fyp #australia
