Caregivers are not easy to recruit with low wages and complications with travel, according to Cody Byers of Home Assist Health, a home care service provider in downtown Phoenix. At Home Assist Health, home health care workers make a minimum base rate of $14 per hour. The current Arizona minimum wage is $12.80.
