The final British and US personnel have left Iraq, bringing an end to the international coalition's military mission against Islamic State after more than a decade. The coalition was formed in 2014 after Islamic State seized large parts of Iraq, with UK forces providing training, air support and assistance to Iraqi and Kurdish forces. Iraqi forces will now take primary responsibility for the country's security, while the UK says it will continue working with Iraq through a longer-term defence partnership. #news #world #iraq #usa #uk
