A remaster of 2004's Shrek 2: The Game has leaked through an Xbox Store listing that went live before any official announcement. It's being developed by Aspyr, the studio behind other classic remasters, and the listing says everything has been rebuilt with better textures, an updated UI, 4K resolution, and new cutscenes. New additions include a Photo Mode and a Cheat Mode, and co-op returns for up to four players, locally, online, or a mix of both. The leaked trailer reportedly spoofs the GTA 6 reveal, with Shrek briefly appearing in the ID@Xbox Showcase teaser too. The listing was pulled quickly, but it's for Xbox Series X|S and there's no release date yet. The official reveal is expected at the ID@Xbox Showcase on October 20, and the remaster had already shown up in a September Steam leak. #shrek2 #gaming #gameplay #remaster #dreamworks
