Grand Theft Auto 6 is eligible to compete for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2026, after organisers confirmed the deadline for this year's awards. The official FAQ states that games must be commercially available by November 20, 2026, at 9 p.m. PT to qualify for most categories. With GTA 6 currently scheduled to launch on November 19, Rockstar's blockbuster makes the cutoff by just one day. The Players' Voice award has a later deadline of November 30, meaning games released after the main cutoff can still qualify for the fan-voted category. #news #award #games #news #rockstar
