GTA 6's chances of competing for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2026 have been called into question, with its planned November release potentially leaving little time for the game to be considered Actress and games writer Alanah Pearce raised the issue during a recent livestream, pointing to the event's historically late-year nomination cutoff. The concern is whether GTA 6 will arrive early enough to qualify and give judges sufficient time to experience it before voting closes. Although last year's eligibility deadline reportedly fell on November 21, just two days after GTA 6's scheduled launch, it remains unclear how the timing could affect this year's process. #gaming #news #rockstar #gta
