NASA has moved to quash a bizarre conspiracy theory claiming Earth’s gravity will disappear for seven seconds today, August 12, sending people and objects soaring into the air. The theory, which has spread across social media, falsely links the supposed event to a solar eclipse and even alleges the existence of a secret NASA program preparing for the fallout. NASA said Earth will not lose its gravity today, explaining that the force is tied to the planet’s mass and that a solar eclipse does not cause such an effect. #NASA #gravity #Science #solareclipse #viral
