Gameloft is bringing Minion Rush to an end after more than 13 years, with the long-running mobile game set to be removed from app stores on October 30. In-app purchases will also be disabled on that date. The game's servers will remain active until January 29, 2027, allowing existing players to continue playing online until then. After the shutdown, the game will still be playable offline, but Gameloft will no longer release new content or updates. According to AppMagic estimates, Minion Rush has been downloaded almost 500 million times and generated more than $45.7 million through in-app purchases. A special farewell event will run throughout October. #gaming #news #mobile #minions
