GTA: Vice City can be played directly inside a web browser again, months after Take-Two forced a previous fan-made port offline. A site called Quenq is hosting what it calls the complete version of Vice City, running through a WebAssembly port of the reverse-engineered reVC engine. The port streams the map as players move around instead of requiring a large upfront download, and it supports keyboard, mouse, controllers, and touchscreen controls on mobile. Quenq recommends capping the frame rate at the original 30 FPS, warning that an unlocked frame rate can cause physics bugs and even break certain missions. It follows an earlier attempt by another site, DOS.Zone, back in December 2025, which required files from a legally owned copy to unlock the full game. Given Take-Two's history of shutting these projects down, it's unclear how long this version will stay up before facing the same fate. #gtavicecity #gaming #pcgaming #gta
