Neil Druckmann, creative director of The Last of Us, has said that neither he nor Naughty Dog are involved in the upcoming third season of the TV adaptation. The news comes via The Washington Post, where Druckmann said on the show, ‘I wasn’t involved in shaping this season’s creative direction, and Naughty Dog did not have a creative role in the direction of this season.’ The Last of Us TV adaptation has been helmed by Craig Mazin, best known as the creator of the historical drama, Chernobyl. In the same article, Druckmann confirmed that Naughty Dog still has plans for The Last of Us IP: ‘It’s important for us to note that as the creator of the games, Naughty Dog is still the steward of this IP and even though this might be the end of this adaptation, we’re not done with ‘The Last of Us,’ he said. ‘There’s a couple projects in the works that, when the time is right, I’m very excited to talk about.’ #gaming #thelastofus #tvshow #elliewilliams
