The Pokémon Company and Aardman have revealed a new teaser trailer for Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd & Pichu, premiering during a special panel at Pokémon XP. The stop-motion series follows Sirfetch'd, an aspiring knight, and his tiny squire Pichu as they adventure through a handcrafted version of the Galar region. Aardman spent dozens of hours playing Pokémon Sword and Shield while developing the show, recreating locations like the Crown Tundra in painstaking claymation detail. The trailer also confirms familiar Pokémon like Obstagoon will cross the duo's path, alongside plenty of Aardman's signature British humor and character work. Disney+ has locked in exclusive worldwide streaming rights, with the series set to debut on Disney XD before hitting Disney+ sometime in 2027. It's part of a bigger expansion for Pokémon on Disney's platforms, alongside the previously announced Pokémon the Series: The Beginning. #pokemon #gaming #tvshow #aardman #wallaceandgromit
