A newly announced soulslike called Stray Dog: nobody cares puts players in the paws of a stray dog rather than a traditional warrior. The story follows a dog rescued by a disgraced, retired knight, who now sets out to rescue his captor after the knight is taken by a tyrannical invading legion. Gameplay leans into classic soulslike combat, with precise parries, stealth kills, backstabs, and deathblow finishers built around the dog's small size and agility. It comes from Parry Frames Team, the developer behind Crimson Oath, an earlier Sekiro-inspired soulslike that landed an 82% positive rating on Steam. The studio says it pivoted to this concept after a community vote, scrapping an earlier planned project in favor of the dog-led premise. Stray Dog: nobody cares doesn't have a release date yet, but it's currently available to wishlist on Steam. #pcgaming #gaming #soulslike #gameplay
