Sony is reportedly reworking Horizon Hunters Gathering following negative feedback from players during private testing. The report comes via Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, who writes that Guerrilla Games has been developing a new direction for the project since June. According to Schreier's sources, the biggest change could be a move away from the live-service model. Instead, the game may follow a more traditional multiplayer angle, with a story mode and smaller scope. Schreier reports that the project hasn’t been canceled, but that the studio has been given until December to impress PlayStation executives with the next milestone. The shift could be another sign of PlayStation pulling back from its live-service push, having previously canceled live-service projects for God of War and Spider-Man. #gaming #sony #horizonzerodawn#aloy
