Grand Theft Auto 5 has been a huge seller for Rockstar Games and Take-Two, but CEO Strauss Zelnick recently put a number on it: the game has sold over 230 million copies since its launch back in 2013. As reported by PC Gamer, that number means that GTA 5, on average, has sold about 17.7 million copies per year. The outlet reports that the bottom entries of Wikipedia's list of the top 50 best-selling games of all time have only achieved 25 million lifetime sales. This includes Phasmophobia, GTA4, and Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. GTA 5 sits in third on the list, behind Tetris and Minecraft, but it seems likely that we’ll be seeing Grand Theft Auto 6 climb those ranks after it releases this November. #gaming #gta #rockstar #gtaonline
