Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 4 has been delayed, but its new release date will see it launch just two weeks after Grand Theft Auto 6. The game was originally set to launch on September 17, but a roughly two and a half month delay will now see it release on December 3. Early Access will begin on November 30. According to studios Deep Silver and King Art Games, the reason for the delay was to ensure the team could ‘continue optimising performance, resolving bugs, and applying further polish’ so that players ‘have the best possible experience from day one.’ The delay moves Dawn of War 4 out of the monster September month, which has been stacked full of releases by studios hoping to avoid the GTA 6 release in November.
