Assassin's Creed Odyssey has seen a major resurgence following the release of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, despite the Ubisoft game sharing little more than its name with the film. According to Alinea Analytics, the game's player count has jumped by 90%, reaching around 233,000 daily players. Most of that growth is believed to come from subscription services such as PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass, making it easier for players to revisit or discover the 2018 RPG. On PlayStation, daily players reportedly climbed 94% to 114,000, while Xbox users more than doubled from 36,000 to 84,000. Alinea Analytics also estimates that Assassin's Creed Odyssey has sold around 400,000 copies over the past year, although it's unclear how many of those sales came after the film's release. #gaming #news #film #greek
