Nearly 900 snakes, including venomous cobras, escaped after floodwaters destroyed a snake farm in China's Guangxi province, triggering a major rescue operation. Authorities say several stranded residents were bitten as volunteers and emergency crews went door-to-door searching for the escaped reptiles, while officials urged locals not to try catching them themselves. The incident comes after torrential rain and flooding linked to Typhoon Maysak inundated parts of southern China, forcing widespread evacuations and leaving entire communities underwater. #china #news #floods #guangxi #snakes
