Tomb Raider: Catalyst has been delayed to 2028, moving back a year from its original 2027 window. The shift follows the earlier delay of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, which is now set for February 12, 2027 instead of this year. Amazon Games head Jeffrey Gattis confirmed the new timeline in an interview with The Game Business, saying Atlantis arrives in February with Catalyst following in 2028. Spacing the two games out avoids overcrowding the franchise's schedule in the same calendar year, giving developer Crystal Dynamics more time to polish Catalyst. Catalyst is set in Northern India and will feature Alix Wilton Regan as Lara Croft, taking over the role from Camilla Luddington. It comes after a turbulent stretch for Crystal Dynamics, which saw multiple rounds of layoffs over the past year. #tombraider #gaming #newgame #gamingnews
