Bethesda Game Studios has shared a major update on the future of Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and Starfield. Fallout 5 is officially in preproduction, while The Elder Scrolls VI remains the studio's primary focus, with the majority of the team now working on it using the new Creation Engine 3. Fallout isn't being left behind either, with a Fallout 76 expansion called Raven Rock coming next year, plus confirmed remasters in development for both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. Bethesda also confirmed Obsidian Entertainment is working with them on a new, currently unnamed Fallout project. Starfield continues to grow too, entering Year 3 with new Starborn content planned for next year, on the back of 17 million players and nearly a billion hours logged so far. Fans hoping for hard release dates will have to keep waiting, since Bethesda didn't attach a timeline to Elder Scrolls VI, Fallout 5, or the remasters. #fallout #gaming #elderscrolls #bethesda
