Anomaly Control Simulator is a new Steam game that plays like Papers, Please dropped into an SCP-inspired setting, casting players as an agent of a secret anomaly control bureau. Players examine dangerous artifacts, run experiments, and decide their fate, all while trying to keep the world from descending into chaos. The job comes with a dark twist, since the game is upfront that failing at your task means you'll be easy to replace, and that getting the job done sometimes costs a life, whether it's yours or someone else's. Containment breaches can happen too, and players are expected to keep working through them and contain anomalies at any cost.
