As reported by GameRant, Lucasfilm is interested in expanding the story of Kestis in the modern Star Wars landscape. ‘Never say never. We've got his lightsaber in the park. We've got more Cal stories coming,’ said a Disney spokesperson. The character, played by actor Cameron Monaghan, first appeared in the 2019 game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. A sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released in 2023, with a third currently in development.
