In Remedy’s recent financial statement, the studio confirmed that their upcoming Max Payne 1 & 2 remakes are in full production. The studio announced the remakes back in 2022, saying that the games are in development in agreement with Rockstar Games. Rockstar will be publishing the remakes, much like the original games. According to current interim CEO Markus Mäki, there’s little in terms of new information on the projects as, ‘the Max Payne communications are all driven by Rockstar so we are working on it hard but that’s all I can say.’ While no release date has been given for the remakes, both Max Payne 1 & 2 will be launching on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. #gaming #maxpayne #rockstargames
