A new report from Bloomberg claims that The Last of Us studio, Naughty Dog, has ordered its employees to work mandatory overtime in order to finish a demo Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Employees had been asked to work a minimum of eight extra hours a week, up to a maximum of 60, to finish the demo. Bloomberg reports that, during this overtime period, staff were also ordered to return to the office five days a week, up from their usual three, which put a strain on some to find alternative child and pet care arrangements. The full game isn’t expected to be released until mid-2027, yet employees are already facing a ‘crunch’ during its development. #gaming #naughtydog #newgame #gamingnews
