Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic reportedly won’t release in 2026. According to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grub, the new original IP from Naughty Dog will be skipping this year’s Game Awards and is expected to launch in 2027 or later. The claim was further corroborated by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier. If so, it could mark the studio going without an original IP release for almost the entirety of the PlayStation 5 generation. Naughty Dog have so far only released remasters, though Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is still set to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive. The Last of Us Studio revealed the game at The Game Awards 2024, with actor Tati Gabrielle portraying the upcoming protagonist, Jordan A.
