The Roblox mini game, Grow a Garden, is reportedly getting its own movie. The film is in development with production company Story Kitchen, who have helped adapt gaming IPs for film and television such as Tomb Raider, Life Is Strange, and Just Cause. The studio has a number of projects in the works based on indie games, including adaptations of Sifu, It Takes Two, and Split Fiction. Grow a Garden is one of Roblox’s most popular mini-games, having secured a peak concurrent player count of 22.3 million in August. This surpasses Fortnite’s peak of 15.3 million concurrent players. How the game is going to be adapted for screen remains underwraps, but the studio will be partnering with the game’s creators to bring it to life. No plot details have been revealed, either.
