Netflix is developing a Crash Bandicoot animated series, marking the beloved PlayStation mascot’s first time leading his own show. The series is being produced by WildBrain Studios, the same team behind Netflix’s Sonic Prime and other animated hits like Carmen Sandiego and Johnny Test. Crash’s franchise, which began in 1996 under Naughty Dog, has seen renewed popularity since the success of the N. Sane Trilogy remake and Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. While story and casting details remain under wraps, the series continues Netflix’s growing push into video game adaptations, alongside projects based on Minecraft, Tomb Raider, and Clash of Clans.
