Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann has described upcoming sci-fi epic Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet as the studio’s “most ambitious and most expansive” project to date. Speaking to Variety, he said the team is “firing on all cylinders” and hinted it may also become the studio’s most expensive game. While details remain scarce, Druckmann explained it continues the trajectory from Uncharted to The Last of Us, mixing realistic action and emotional storytelling with RPG elements and “wide linear layouts.” He also teased that the game’s announcement trailer only scratches the surface of what’s coming. Druckmann confirmed adaptation talks are already happening but stressed that making a “fantastic video game” is the first priority. The project was first revealed at The Game Awards last year, with Tati Gabrielle starring in the lead role. #naughtydog #playstation #sony #gaming #intergalactic
