Marvel Rivals may one day feature original characters alongside its roster of Marvel icons. In an interview, creative director Guanguang confirmed that NetEase has Disney’s approval to create entirely new heroes for the game. While he didn’t share details, he teased fans to “stay tuned” for the future. Although an original character isn’t expected soon, NetEase has made it clear that future additions will follow the game’s own storyline rather than the MCU’s schedule. #marvelrivals #gaming #netease #marvelstudios
