Here’s some PAWsome news: RIC’s Police Department officially welcomed Officer Dustin Coleman and Comfort K9Elvy_The_AnchorDog to our community today! 🐾 Police Chief James Mendonca administered the oath of office to the K9 Team, joined by Officer Coleman’s family, who pinned his badge, and his new colleagues. Officer Coleman brings six years of dedicated service to our department. K9 Elvy, a specially trained comfort dog, was partnered with Officer Coleman after completing her training through Puppies.Behind.Bars in 2021.
