Today we celebrate #internationalwomensday! At Rhode Island College, women are making history every day! 💜 70% of our students identify as female 💚 4/5 of the deans of our academic schools are women 🤍 5/6 of our vice presidents are women 💜 We have buildings named for pioneering female educators, the first woman to serve as president of a public college in RI, and the first Black woman to receive a doctorate in education from Harvard 💚 And our go_anchorwbb are "by far, the best local college basketball story in the state" (Boston Globe, 3/8/24)! . . . #RICNews #experienceRIC #rhodeislandcollege #womenshistorymonth #womenshistorymonth #womeninleadership #womenleaders #thefutureisfemale
