Rhode Island College (of Education), established as a four-year teacher education program in #1920. (Formerly the Rhode Island Normal School.) Today marks 100 years since the ratification of the #19thamendment, granting women the right to vote. We honor all the women who fought not only for the ballot, but for the entirety of their rights as citizens and for their places in the world. We honor the women who continue to fight to make their voices heard every day. . . . #RICNews #RICSpirit #rhodeislandcollege #rhodeisland #womensrighttovote #womenssuffrage #empowerment #womensvote100 #vote #1920s #historicphoto #archive #rhodeislandhistory
