#RICAlumni are making their mark on RI every day – and here’s a very visible, and #visual, example! mottandchace’s storefront was damaged during the violence in Providence a couple of weeks ago. In place of their broken window they wanted a positive message of community, so they worked with avenuepvd to get two local artists, RIC alum Greg Pennisten ‘13 & Arthur Cayo, to paint this mural. It’s called “Love & Unity” and its design was inspired by the famous Quilters of Gee’s Bend, AL. You can see Greg & Arthur’s work at 100 Exchange St., Providence through mid-July. . ricalumni providencepaintedsigns . . . #RICnews #experienceRIC #RICspirit #rhodeislandcollege #RIArts #publicart #mural #art #artistsoninstagram
