Another RIC alumnus on the front lines of the #covıd19 response, courtesy of the provjournal. Nick Aridano ‘17 is an ER #nurse at Miriam Hospital. His fiancee is also a nurse at Miriam. Before each patient he must gear up: N95 mask (the same one he’s been wearing for a week), face shield (to help conserve the mask), hairnet, gloves and disposable hospital gown. In addition to the standard medical assistance, Nick believes part of his job is to offer solace – letting patients know they’re not alone.
