Yesterday Jennifer Paolantonio ‘06 became the latest RIC alumna to win the “Oscar of Teaching,” the #MilkenAward. 🏆 She’s a #specialeducation #teacher at #Ponaganset High School. She was surprised with the #award in front of her whole school at a special ceremony, and three other former Milken Award-winners who are also #RICalumni were there to celebrate with her: Michelle Johnson ‘06, M.Ed. ‘14, Milken ‘18 (far left); Dr. Michael Barnes ‘87, M.Ed. ‘89, Milken ‘97 (fourth from right); and Yanaiza Gallant ‘01, M.Ed. ‘11, Milken ‘12 (third from right). Our graduates accomplish amazing things! 🍎🙌 . . . #RICnews #experienceRIC #RICspirit #rhodeislandcollege #teachers #teaching #education #awardwinning #awardwinner #teachersrock #milken #alumni #educationleadership
