Recognize this location? It’s a #throwbackthursday view of the future home of RIC, as shown on the new website oldpvd.com. (⬅️ to see more.) The site is the latest project from #RICalum Maureen Taylor ‘78, MA ‘96, aka the photodetective. 📸🎞🕵🏼‍♀️ She’s a nationally renowned researcher and has compiled a free resource for anyone interested in seeing what “used to be” where in #PVD. You can explore different areas, see archival photos, learn more about the buildings and even upload your own additions to the interactive map! . . . #RICnews #RICalumni #rhodeislandcollege #oldpvd #providence #tbt #thursdaythrowback #map #maps #interactivemap #vintagemap #localhistory #rhodeisland #rhodeislandhistory #research #vintage #archive #historicbuilding #explorehistory #oldphoto
